Badgingarra Workforce Accommodation Development Application

Zephyr Energy Ltd has submitted a development application for workforce accommodation to support the construction of the Parron Maam Marang Farm.

Element Advisory (part of SLR), in collaboration with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, Yued Aboriginal Corporation and Zephyr Energy, has lodged the development application for the Badgingarra Workers Accommodation Village with the Shire of Dandaragan.

This represents the first purpose-built, large-scale workforce accommodation facility proposed within the Noongar Land Estate. Subject to agreement with Yued Aboriginal Corporation, it will support the delivery of the approved 489 MW Parron Wind Farm and, over time, other renewable energy, resources and regional development projects.

The project supports WA’s green energy transition while creating long-term community benefits — including local jobs, skills and capacity-building, and new service procurement opportunities.
